Hello fellow traveller!

My KitKat is a 2016 MeerKat pulled with a 2021 Tesla Model Y. The Tesla’s tow capacity is 3,500 lbs, and the MeerKat’s dry weight is 920 lbs, gross about 1,200 lbs, with my functional additions.

New 2025 MeerKats cost about $32,000; I bought mine used from a lovely private seller for $17,500. I’m the third owner. As far as I know, she’s been garaged most of her life. MeerKats can fit in a standard garage when the pop-up is closed. With it popped up, humans up to 6’4” can stand up straight inside.

I said goodbye to my entertainment job in 2024, turned 50 in 2025, bought this trailer, sold my house and hit the road! Stay safe out there!
