Hello from Kingman, AZ!

Look how teeny-tiny my rig is compared to the medium-size camper behind it!

I had to leave. I love my cousins and Las Vegas, but I jumped from my now-sold house in Los Angeles to my cousin’s house in Las Vegas, with no room to process the past month. Moving. Is. Trauma. Vegas was windy. And hot. And I was in someone else’s routine.

I left LV headed for Flagstaff, which I said to cousin Gary-with-dementia no less than 35 times (love you Gary and Patty!), but I got halfway there and just needed to breathe. And camp in my Kit Kat the MeerKat. I bought this trailer and with all the chaos of moving, had yet to actually camp in it. I stopped into an RV Park in Kingman, AZ, and paused. I fidgeted and tweaked and rearranged. I bought a couple accessories at the local Home Depot. And I slept. And I booked another night. I went to Rickety Crickets and had a funky pizza and pint of beer from a bartendress who called me a term of endearment like Babe or Honey; I can’t remember now and it doesn’t matter. It was Day 3 from LA and I was adjusting.
